1. Bourjois Blush in Rose D'or: I use this as a blush but also as a mixer for my eyeshadow as it warms up shades of brown/beige that you may use in the crease of your eye.

2. Cherry Red Nail Polish (Dunnes Stores, Ireland): I love this colour either as a bright scarlet red (two coats needed), as a fuchsia pink (one coat and a clear topcoat), and as a mixer with clear polish to create healthy looking clear nail polish. (See ''Quick and Easy Manicure' post)

3. Moisturiser: Any kind of moisturiser you have lying around can be used to mix with liquid foundation to make it easier to spread evenly. It can also be used to moisten a pointed eyeshadow brush before dipping it into eyeshadow and using it as liquid eyeliner when applied close to the lash line.

4. Eyeshadow Applicators: although most make up artists disregard these, I love them for applying a thick coat of highlighting eyeshadow to the lid of the eye and inner corners and also for smudging my lower eyeliner (both pencil and liquid!) to make it look more natural and less severe.
